  • In helping children and young adults reach their full potential
  • Discrimination is wrong in every instance.
  • In consistency, so if you are going to drug-test recipients of public assistance, drug-test them all, including the corporate chieftains who are the biggest beneficiaries.
  • In the separation of church and state.
  • The free and open internet is a powerful tool for everyone fighting for social change and racial justice.
  • Offenders have paid their price when their sentence is up and should be helped to assimilate back into society. It is better for the community then neglecting them and watching them commit another crime.

  • In freedom of expression without compromise and public support of the arts.

  • A livable wage for ALL Americans is a basic human right
  • “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of laborers, the genius of its scientists, and the hopes of its children. ” (DDE)
